kSmart auto：Apple's new version of IOS17 has been released, and the new version brings a lot of new functions and features to CarPlay.

Apple Music SharePlay

Apple officially said that Apple Music SharePlay can make it easy for everyone in the car, including the rear passenger, to share and control in-car apps, and everyone can play their favorite apps.

Users can discover the introduction of Apple Music SharePlay on the Now Playing interface. When a user taps Apple Music SharePlay, they'll automatically find nearby contacts running iOS 17 and later. A QR code is also provided on the interface for passengers to scan the code to join.

Passengers can join a SharePlay session after scanning the QR code, and the current owner can also enable/disable this feature if needed.

Enhance Siri interactions

If you're running iOS 17 on a supported iPhone, you can now wake up your voice assistant by saying "Siri" directly while using CarPlay.

There is also a new design for sending and reading messages with larger buttons and a switch in the upper right corner to enable/disable announcement messages for that conversation.
